Looking superficially like a wētā, an unidentified species of raspy cricket has found its way to New Zealand from its native Australia. Wings (not fully grown in this individual) immediately separate raspy crickets from wētā. The superficial resemblance has led some people to refer to them as Australian winged wētā.
