The weather today is rather wet, and forecast to get worse. A good day to sit in front of a monitor, sorting though a huge backlog of images, and reworking some old favourites. The patterns in this photo of the Te Paki sand dunes inspired me to try a monochrome interpretation, and I’m pleased I did.
A couple of days ago I saw my first sanderling (Calidris alba) and I’ve now added a new album of sanderling photos to my gallery.
